Short History of the iPhone
In 2007, Apple and Motorola released ROKR E1 which was the first mobile phone to use iTunes. The release made many jobs unhappy with the ROKR because they felt they had to compromise with a non-Apple designer which prevented Apple from designing the phone they really wanted to make. On June 29, 2007, Apple released the iPhone that supported 3rd party applications, and was a mobile phone that could display pictures and video.
